Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Menopause, leaking pee, painful sex, prolapse, chronic constipation: pelvic floor physio is for anyone, at any stage.
Whether you've had babies or not, pelvic floor physio can help. It’s a very different kind of physiotherapy than what you’d see for an ankle sprain. You can expect a lot of talking, a lot of personal questions, a lot of education, an internal exam if you want one, and more. Kegels are not always the answer. For more about what to expect head over to the FAQ section.
The TL; DR (too long; didn’t read) - a non-exhaustive list of things I can treat/help with:
Pelvic organ prolapse (sounds terrifying, but it doesn’t need to be)
Urinary incontinence (this doesn’t have to be your new norm)
Coccydynia (Tailbone pain)
Dyspareunia (Pain with sex)
Fecal incontinence (Leaking poop)
Pelvic pain
Painful scars after childbirth and/or surgery
